Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a traditional Japanese healing practice that channels life-force energy (Rei meaning "universal" and Ki meaning "vital energy") to support the body, mind, and spirit in returning to a state of natural balance and harmony. Unlike massage or other physical therapies, Reiki does not involve manipulation of the muscles or tissues. Instead, the practitioner acts as a conduit for healing energy, gently placing their hands either lightly on or just above the body, allowing the energy to be drawn to where it's needed most. What To Expect During A Reiki Session 

Each person's experience is unique, and Reiki always works for the highest good of the receiver—whether that’s physical relaxation, emotional healing, spiritual insight, or simply space to rest and be held.

Open to your discretion, there is also the option to include the use of tuning forks and sound. Tuning forks emit sound frequencies, each frequency acts like a sonic "tuning" of the body’s biofield, helping to clear emotional residue, energetic congestion, and mental fog. When used alongside Reiki, they can help to quickly locate and dissolve energetic blockages, encouraging a smoother flow of life-force energy throughout the system.

Although each person’s experience is individual to them, below are some things commonly described by people during a session. Please also be aware that the same person’s experience may vary from session to session. All that is encouraged of you is to be open and receptive.
